At Abode we are always looking at ways that we can improve our service for both Landlords and Tenants.  We are very proud of our reputation in the market place and our aim is to maintain this reputation.  All 12 members of staff attended morning sessions at the fantastic function room in Bordeaux Quay on the water front and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  The sessions were taken by Andy Knox from Forward Learning and Development who evaluated our current service.  Following the sessions the staff came up with innovative ideas that will be implemented over the coming weeks. 

BEKO Fridge Freezers sometimes have a problem

The 12 staff at Abode Property Management were the first to take advantage of local gastronomic favourite's Papadeli in their brand new cookery school.

In 2001, Abode Property Management opened with a tiny staff of owner-manager Steven Harris,  Ben Curme and part time support from Steve’s mum Denise. In ten years we are very proud to have built a business letting 600 properties per year & managing in excess of 550 professional and student houses and apartments. Now with 11 staff, Denise has now retired. We continue to work out of the same, now extended shop at the top of Whiteladies Road in response to our clients who tell us that it is a good, convenient location.

Bristol’s oldest property management company merges with one of the youngest.

Abode Property Management, one of Bristol’s newest property management companies has merged with Prestige Residential Letting.

In April 2007 new regulations were introduced which means that for any new Tenancy Agreement the Landlord is required by law to register the deposit into a scheme. Failure to register the deposit automatically leads to a fine 3 times the value of the deposit plus creating other issues.
